It looks like AT&T is experiencing a network outage in the New York City area.The outage could last for as long as eight to 10 hours, according to Unstrung. Right now there is no other information available about the network outage. We'll update this post once we learn more.

Update: AT&T's wireless service appears to have been restored in the New York City area.

Another Update: From an AT&T spokesperson:

Some customers in several neighborhoods in Manhattan and Queens experienced problems receiving calls on their AT&T wireless phones. The problem was temporary and has been resolved for several hours. In no way was it a complete network outage.
