Is someone at the State Library of Ohio giving out free memory sticks loaded with hidden porn? How else to explain how a state lawmaker's PowerPoint presentation to a high school class Tuesday was briefly punctuated by images of topless women?Ohio state representative Matthew Barrett, (D, OH) referring to the directory of pornographic images school officials found on his memory stick, said he "had no idea where these came from," and that the stick had been given to him as a gift by a legislative liaison from the State Library of Ohio, the AP news service reported.

As amusing as it may be, the scenario of government librarians and lawmakers exchanging dirty pictures on government property has to be set aside, because a more plausible source of the smut has come to light.

On Thursday an Ohio television station and a Columbus newspaper reported that "a minor child in State Rep. Matt Barrett's home downloaded photos of topless women." Case -- apparently --closed.

Not so fast.

I've got to believe that Barrett will be, ahem, thoughtfully reviewing sentencing options for his kid over the weekend. Let's help the man out; he's had a tough week. Post your suggestions below for how to fairly punish a minor child for loading porn onto daddy's USB drive.
