Make the [CAPSLOCK] key beep when you press it, especially handy if you did it accidentally.

Few things are more annoying, I think, then when you suddenly look at your monitor to find everything you've recently entered is ALL IN CAPS. You can make the [CAPSLOCK] key beep and alert you when you've pressed it -- on purpose or not.
In Windows Vista and Windows 7, open the Control Panel and click on Ease of Access Center. Scroll down and click on Make the Keyboard Easier To Use. Then select Turn on Toggle Keys. Hit OK. It's slightly different for Windows XP. Open the Control Panel and select Accessibility Options. Then, under the Keyboard tab, check Use Toggle Keys. Hit OK. Now, any time you accidentally hit the [CAPSLOCK] key you'll hear a beep when you or something or someone else presses it accidentally Now you'll be SHOUTING A LOT LESS. Much nicer.
