I know many of you are (still) waiting for the BlackBerry Bold, and others anxiously waiting for the drop date of the touch-screen BlackBerry Storm. Well, if the Boy Genius Report is correct, you may want to wait for next year when Research In Motion will bring out a BlackBerry with a full QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen.Of course, this is obviously a super rumor right now, but the Boy Genius has a knack for outing BlackBerry news. Berrynews says the handset's in the alpha stages right now, and that its internal name is "Magnum."
I was a big fan of the Palm Treo Pro but felt the keys could have been a bit better. Being able to use the excellent Bold keyboard for messages while still having a touch-screen for quick-launching apps would be a dream. The SuperBerry will reportedly be announced at next year's Wireless Enterprises Symposium in March, with a release date to be determined. Sounds awesome, right? I certainly am excited about this, but I know there are still a lot of you waiting for the freaking Bold. Don't fret, though. With RIM's recent troubles getting key products out, you'll probably be able to pick up a Bold and fill your two-year contract before this SuperBerry hits the market.
