Singlestep Technologies released a version of its IT process automation and information management software that presents network information through new dashboard and reporting modules.

Version 2.0 of Singlestep Unity lets users build views of monitored network components, including those such as servers, firewalls and other network components that are monitored by different tools. The product allows the creation of high-level dashboards for executives or device- and event-level views for network engineers.

A Web-based reporting module, also new to Version 2.0, disseminates historical and trending reports based on Unity's store of network data. Reports highlight network trends and patterns and assist with the monitoring of service availability.

Singlestep boosted the performance of Unity to allow it to handle double the number of events as were handled by the first version of the software, the company said. No pricing information was available.
