The End is Near -- For the Super Early Bird Deadline

This morning on my way to work, I passed a man standing on the corner of Mission and New Montgomery holding a tattered cardboard sign:  Scrawled across the front, in black magic marker, was "The End Is Near". 

 You'll have to forgive me. I've been working too hard (or not sleeping enough), so I immediately thought of the Super Early Bird deadline for Software Development Best Practices 2008 . It's Friday, at midnight, by the way.
