Ever wonder who's behind some of the more controversial edits on Wikipedia? InformationWeek's Thomas Claburn writes about a new tool created by Cal Tech grad student Virgil Griffith that scans changes to Wikipedia edits and maps the user's IP address to a particular company or organization. Of course anyone can look up an IP address but WikiScanner takes the hard work out of it and even has a few built some queries for some of the more interesting posts.About the Author(s)
