WebSideStory on Thursday launched a software tool that online retailers can integrate into their sites to enhance the results from product searches.
Active Browsing, built using Ajax, adds to the interactivity of search results by displaying product details and "more-like-this" categories when potential buyers move their cursors over a picture. The feature is currently being used by underwear maker Jockey.
Pricing for the new product was not disclosed.
