Sometimes, great IT isn't a about technology, it's about education. That's why this week's episode of Interop Radio is all about presentations -- and how to make sure yours are good. Plan to join us on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 3:00 p.m. EST for Interop Radio: Make An IT Presentation That's Actually GOOD!

We've all been forced to sit through horrible presentations. What's the worst example you can think of? The speech where someone read his slides to you? The monotone delivery that induced sleep faster than the drug with the big, glowing luna moth? How about the executive who acted like the meeting she called caught her completely by surprise?

This week's guest, Betsy Weber, is chief evangelist for TechSmith and an expert on giving great presentations. She's given her share and works through in-person classes, blogs, and social media to help professionals understand the process, techniques, and products that lead to better, more compelling presentations.

As the Chief Technical Evangelist, Betsy acts as public-facing conduit between the company and the customer being an advocate for both. She leads TechSmith's highly-acclaimed evangelism program where she collaborates with customers, industry experts, and technologists from all over the world. Betsy specializes in telling stories from her own career and experience as well as educating audiences on new technology. She is passionate about technology and social media. Betsy has authored over 800 blog posts and created hundreds of screencast videos. She travels the world, giving compelling, technical, influential, and entertaining presentations.

With over a decade of experience in corporate training and product management, Betsy has worked on both the development and customer service side of delivering business applications. She is a member of the Global Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) and the Association for Talent Development (ASTD).
