It's an actual breakthrough in cancer study. A clinical trial pointed out that they were been able to cut down 3-year mortality in those with metastatic cancers by over 5 times. Nothing at all can be equivalent to this result in the entire cancer investigation. I repeat 5 times fewer persons passed away in three years once they used one supplementary therapy. The treatment was based on the tactic employed by close to 200 Russian medical experts, and the objective of the procedure is to improve oxygen pressure in body organs implementing the popular Buteyko breathing technique. Yet another example of real world applications using big data to analyze and treat diseases. With the amount of data that is available and the amount that is potentially available, itGÇÖs all a matter of collecting it and applying it. With the lack of interoperability among EHRs and the differences in the type and storage of data collected by EHRs, there are issues when trying to collect from different systems, but if standards can be agreed upon and open source software implemented, then there is huge potential in garnering and analyzing the data. The sharing of knowledge between physicians is invaluable when trying to improve patient health and treat for diseases such as cancer.

I love the fact that companies and industries are using new technology and existing data four a useful purpose. I highly support any advancements in the healthcare industry pertaining to making life better and assisting with solutions where solutions were thought to be had already. Technology is having industries think twice about hoe they can utilize it to better their business. This is a great example of how it is being used in the health care industry , great article. I also think that with big companies backing these ideas it will do nothing but propel them into success.
