La tablette QOOQ V2 (French web page) is different. It's designed for use in the kitchen. You can use it with dirty hands, spill liquids on it, and it will clean up fine.
The QOOQ is the first tablet not produced in Asia. It is French-made and, in another unconventional twist, runs Linux.
The QOOQ does all the usual tablet things: you can surf the web and listen to music, for example, but it also comes with a lot of kitchen content. Software on the device gives access to more than 3500 recipes. Hubert Bloch, QOOQ's Marketing Director says it's like a digital cooking school
