WebSideStory introduced a Web site analytics service that replaces its HitBox products, introducing dashboard and reporting improvements.

The hosted service, called HBX, features customizable, graphically-based dashboards that include interactive gauges and charts. Data is delivered through a Web interface.

HBX is designed to let users establish relationships between different areas of site content, by for instance revealing that site visitors who viewed content X also viewed content Y and Z. Reporting capability on internal site searches has also gotten a boost.

WebSideStory developed its new product with assistance from its many of its largest customers, the company said.
