Jim Finney is the Senior Vice President of Information Technology at First Tech Federal Credit Union. A seasoned IT operations and security leader, Jim has more than 30 years of experience in the credit union industry. In his current role, Jim manages all IT operations to ensure safe and sound processes, procedures, and operational maintenance. Additional key responsibilities include championing cost benefit analysis, mitigating IT risk, help desk, networking, enterprise architecture and telecommunications program to ensure procedures and practices are in alignment with credit union industry best practices. Prior to joining First Tech in 2006, Jim served as IT Manager at Portland Teachers Credit Union for more than 16 years, where he was responsible for all telephony integration, member data, business continuity and mid-range server applications.
