Ew
If you let the cat go outside and you put a camera on its head, chances are you'll be seeing some pretty gory things -- what with all the hunting and and eating of prey they do.

Tech and Pets
Pretty low-tech, but as I'm reading this slideshow I'm seeing a commercial on TV for "GaZoos" -- a rattling/moving toy that is supposedly very attractive and engaging for dogs.

A better title for this would be "7 Pet Gifts for Tech Lovers" ;)

I like the idea. Just a few cities for now. Hopefully they will add more in the future as the service lift off.

Re: pet products
I think the acupuncture for pets is way too costly and a complete rip off. The only way I would consider acupucture for my pet was if the price is significantly reduced. I once paid for my dog to get a massage session and a session of reiki and bothe sessions combined were cheaper than the price of acupuncture.

The Scout 1500 Pet Monitor is pretty cool. I would love to see what my pets are doing when I am not home. My dog is definitely mischevious and I would love to see it all on video. I would conseider purchasing this item , but I wouldn't consider buying the camera that is attached tot he pet itself.

The Petnet SmartFeeder is very cool! I love this. I never heard of this before, but will definitely be researching more about it. I may consider purchasing it.

pet products
Even stores that used to not have anything to do with pets, like Bed Bath and Beyond, now carry a selection of pet accessories. It certainly is a booming business, as pet owners like to spoil their pets the same way people spoil their children.
