@batye: So you have the opposite problem: too much security!  (And, therefore, less "usability" of your household "features" -- such as your comfy bed!)

@Joe thanks, I could not agree more... my wife when she leaves for work do forgets to turn off/reset  security system for the bottom level of the house most of the time :) waking me up :) if wind hits the door or windows...  after she is comming back in :) lol ...

@batye: Indeed, you could have the world's best security system for your home or your office...but if you forget to turn it on and leave the doors wide open, it doesn't do much for you.

@Joe, I would say you nail it :) as weakest link in security human nature and no escape or solution from it... sad reality... or maybe it the way of our nature... keep making security mistakes....

@Stratustician, I would say you are right, but now security is everyones responsibility... and do not know or care do result in termination of the employment... if employee is responsible for security breach...

Well I think IT governance should be the main factor. Its always important to align the business goals with the IT goals which will help in increaseing the RIO.
