Brent Yamashita is a partner in DLA Piper’s Silicon Valley office and focuses on patent litigation, patent prosecution, and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings. Over the past 24 years, Brent has represented technology companies in litigation in federal district courts and the International Trade Commission. He has drafted and obtained over 100 US patents for his clients. He has initiated dozens of IPR proceedings and has argued as lead counsel in numerous oral argument sessions before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
