Coast Software, Ottawa, Ontario, yesterday unveiled Coast Compliance Central, an application for managing online compliance and risk by allowing organizations to discover, register, monitor and resolve online compliance violations from within a common environment.

Together with its online compliance management best practice, Coast will use Compliance Central to deliver an end-to-end framework for reducing risk and building trust online.

Developed for Fortune 2000 and government organizations, Coast Compliance Central allows organizations to automate the identification of content in violation of compliance standards, enforce standards across the organization, and resolve violations before they result in fines, litigation or negative media attention.

"Organizations recognize that online compliance is an important issue, but there is still a lot of work to be done to implement effective compliance processes," said Paul Saunders, Coast Software president and CEO, in a prepared statement. "With Coast Compliance Central, management now has a framework for identifying compliance violations and seeing them through to resolution. This puts them in control of organizational content and reduces risk associated with online data."

Coast Compliance Central can be purchased directly or through the company's international reseller channel.
