Subscription-Based BI at $15,000 Per CPU

It's not a SaaS offering and it's not a dummied-down business intelligence (BI) platform with features and functions removed to meet a target price point. To lower the cost barrier to BI, LogiXML offers the alternative of subscription-based licensing of its complete Web-based BI Platform, which includes ad hoc reporting, OLAP reporting, dashboarding, BI data services and managed reporting.

To lower the cost barrier to BI, LogiXML offers the alternative of subscription-based licensing of its complete Web-based BI Platform, which includes ad hoc reporting, OLAP reporting, dashboarding, BI data services, security and managed reporting with a range of output options.Under LogiXML's subscription plan, the Logi 8 Platform can be deployed for $14,995 per year for a single-processor implementation or $29,995 per year for a single-server implementation with multiple processors. Browser-based client seats are unlimited and free of charge (as is the case with the company's perpetual license offerings).

The platform includes five integrated components that you would install behind your firewall: • Logi 8 Info, a reporting and dashboarding environment for developers offering visualizations including Analysis Grid, heat maps and a range of output options. • Logi 8 Ad Hoc, a self-service, Web-based reporting environment for business users. • Logi 8 OLAP, a Web-based cube viewer for fast OLAP analysis. • Logi 8 Mart, an "easy-to-implement" data mart for delivery of BI and reporting information. The subscription approach lowers the initial cost of a BI implementation, but if you're deploying for the long haul, keep in mind that a single-processor deployment of Logi 8 on a perpetual license starts at about $40,000.It's not a SaaS offering and it's not a dummied-down business intelligence (BI) platform with features and functions removed to meet a target price point.
