Any large organization aiming to implement a BYOD/consumerization of IT strategy responsibly has to test the scenarios in order to make sure they work properly and don't cause problems.

A series of free guides from Microsoft give background and instructions on how to set up a test lab and perform the testing. By sheer coincidence, these guides rely heavily on Windows Server 2008 R2 and highlight several high-profile features of the OS, in particular the Hyper-V hypervisor and DirectAccess, which have dedicated guides.
