British researchers say in a British Medical Journal report to be published tomorrow that they have found no evidence that mobile phones cause brain cancer.The researchers compared two populations -- one with cancer and the other without -- and found no difference in their behavior.

The problem is that studies that show a link between cell phone use and cancer seem to be on part with those that find no link.

This recent study doesn't even come close to settling the matter. For starters, it focused only on the question of cancer within the first ten years of cell phone use -- we still have no idea what the longer-term issues are.
