Why I Might Switch Back

Russell Beattie clearly woke up Thursday morning and said to himself, "You know, I don't think I get enough hate mail." That's when he posted a blog entry describing why, after seven months of using the Mac, he's thinking of switching back to Windows.

The hardware is nice, but OS X can be as slow, buggy, nonstandard, frustrating, and annoying as any other operating system. Also, I don't really use most of the included apps, so most of what makes OS X so special doesn't really apply to me.

Let me be more specific about what I see as non-plusses, I'll just list them out in no special order, but conveniently numbered so the zealots can refer to each number directly while defending their beloved Macs:
