The Elek Tex Smart Fabric wireless keyboard that can be rolled up and put in a pocket is available for shipping, Eleksen Ltd. reported Thursday at CES.

The Bluetooth-equipped keyboard has been designed for use with smart phones, PDAs, and other handheld devices, the firm said, noting that its full laptop size supports easy editing and typing.

"Where existing key pads on many smart phones and PDAs make typing anything longer than a short message impractical and uncomfortable, we've designed the laptop-sized Elek Tex fabric keyboard to allow consumers to easily and more comfortably type longer documents on their phones and handheld devices," said the firm's product manager Andrew Newman.

The keyboard is 100-percent fabric, water repellent, and weighs 2.4 oz. The keyboard's electronics plastic housing features LEDs displaying Bluetooth and keyboard function status.
