3Com Corp. last week launched a cabling product designed to reduce the cost of wiring LANs. The NJ100 Network Jack has four 10/100 Ethernet ports but uses only one Ethernet drop from a wiring closet to a user's desk. The NJ100 is available now and lists for $140.
