Enterprise content management and collaboration solution vendor Alfresco has announced its intention to launch a version of its service for SMBs and has opened its Early Access Program for a limited number of businesses to test.
Enterprise content management and collaboration solution vendor Alfresco has announced its intention to launch a version of its service for SMBs and has opened its Early Access Program for a limited number of businesses to test.Alfresco offers an integrated content management solution that includes document management, Web content management, records management, image management, and a collaboration platform. The services are available on a subscription basis that includes technical support.
The company has announced that it will soon offer a version for businesses of up to 100 users. Hosted on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), the service will include access to the document management and collaboration features and be billed monthly through Amazon. The company has instituted an Early Access Program for organizations that are interested in testing the service. Companies with 100 or fewer users, an understanding of EC2, and the willingness to report their experiences to Alfresco can fill out a form to apply to the program here.
