If you've been hankering for more information about the unannounced BlackBerry Storm 2, consider this your daily fix. The Storm 2 is found in this seven-minute video, which provides quite a lot of detail about the new device.This is great. Probably the best part about this video is that it shows how much better the SurePress screen works. As you know, the screen on the original BlackBerry Storm is one giant button. In order to select things on the screen or to type, users have to depress the entire screen to get a click from it. SurePress, touted by RIM as the next-best thing for touch screens, has earned nothing but derision.

Given the negative reception to SurePress, many hoped that the Storm 2 would ditch SurePress and simply use the ability of the capacitive screen on the Storm 2 for selecting items and typing emails. Initially, it appeared as that's how things were going to work out.

Then we learned otherwise. SurePress, as RIM co-CEO Mike Lazaridis has said, is here to stay.
