Cingular Wireless on Wednesday started offering what the carrier says is the smallest camera flip phone, a Pantech C300.

The phone is available exclusively in the United States to customers of Cingular's GoPhone prepaid wireless service. The Pantech C300 is 2.72 inches tall, 1.69 inches wide and three quarters of an inch thick with the flip closed. Features include a color screen and camera with flash and zoom.

"The launch of the C300 in the U.S. represents a huge step forward in the development of Pantech as a global brand," Sung Kyu Lee, president and chief executive of South Korean company Pantech Wireless Inc., said.

The Pantech C300 is available through Cingular retail locations or through its Web site for $119.99.
