There are several iPad apps that bring the device into business meetings, but Fuze lets the iPad serve as meeting host.

The opening screen of a Fuze Meeting lists all of your upcoming and past meetings, and lets you start or join a meeting. The interface is quite simple to get started with.

When a meeting gets created, you can join the audio portion by using Fuze In (the VoIP tool it includes for the iPad) or by using a regular telephone--it will dial your phone for you.

For meetings, you can upload different file types into the Fuze cloud and call them up when needed during your meeting. By selecting “add content” you can load up content on the fly. This may require exiting the application on the iPad, but the meeting will stay in tact for up to 15 minutes while you do that.

When you've invited another participant into the meeting, you get a message across the screen prompting you to accept them into the meeting. You can also give control of the meeting to another attendee.

There are several ways to invite attendees into a meeting: by having the app call their phone, by using instant messaging (several IM clients are supported via the app), or using e-mail.

Meeting attendees are listed. The app also displays how the attendee has joined (mobile, audio only, etc).

Video files or presentation files can be played during a meeting, for all to see, and all directly from the iPad. There is also a laser pointer (see the top of the screen). Ipad users cannot use the annotation feature, which is only available in the web-based version.
