BANGALORE, India — Moser Baer India Ltd., a manufacturer of compact disks and other optical media based in New Delhi, is claiming to be one of the first companies shipping HD DVD-R (recordable), to original equipment manufacturers globally.The disks, which have a capacity of 15 GB, are used in medical and government imaging, photography and high-definition video recording.Moser Baer plans to launch other products such as DVD-R Dual Layer, HD DVD-RW, HD DVD Dual Layer and BD-R and BD-RE as they have good market potential.
