Recently, I participated in a panel in the form of a webinar on Embedded Multicore Development. It was moderated by Richard Nass, Editor-in-Chief of Embedded Systems Design, Embedded.com and the Embedded Systems Conferences. It's available on demand.
The main topic was parallelism - of interest whether you do embedded or not -
The panel was lively - a great group of people - my pleasure and honor to be part of it -
Edward A. Lee, Professor and Chair of the EE&CS department at U.C. Berkeley, and known among other things for "The Problem with Threads".
James Truchard, the co-founder, President and CEO of National Instruments.
Herb Sutter, Consultant and Trainer, Software Architect at Microsoft, and chair of the ISO C++ standards committee, known among other things for "The Free Lunch Is Over"
I hope you find it interesting...
(Thank you to Herb for reminding me that we did this - and should mention it to others...)
