As much as I want you all reading my stuff, there are a many other folks writing some great content and analysis on the VM front. Here are some of the writers I try to keep up with.

While the writers and staff all have deep backgrounds in tech and virtualization, they've been around in the mag's current incarnation since 2005. The online format makes good use of the medium with audio and video podcasts featuring interviews with industry players, lab reports, trade-show floor coverage, and a number of "how-tos." Brian and I were both at Manage Fusion earlier this month, and he captured a bunch of the show on video if you want to see how Altiris played Vegas. And no, none of the Cirque performers from the keynote ended up on tape.
David Marshall (who happened to be interviewed on vid by Decharme at ManageFusion) writes for InfoWorld and under his own tag at vmblog.com. Like many of us, you can find him & his posts elsewhere if you look.
For the Microsoft-focused, Peter Varhol is the reviews editor at Redmondmag.com, focusing on the Windows side of virtualization be it server, application or desktop. Here's a nice piece from earlier this year discussing the SoftGrid acquisition, with some honest commentary about early app virt code. Peter tends to keep a good objective viewpoint as he keeps his eye on Microsoft.
Finally, I don't know anyone on the respective teams personally, but Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, Virtual Iron, Parallels, and pretty much all other virt space vendors have virtualization blogs with surprisingly honest commentary; there tend to be plenty of nice developer nuggets mixed in with the PR posts, so the blogs are worth it. I tie in all the respective RSS feeds to make my life easier. As much as I want you all reading my stuff, there are a many other folks writing some great content and analysis on the VM front.
