Back in the day, comedian Joe Piscopo reported on the confusing Major League Baseball Playoff race, using bobbleheads to make the point — or, more precisely, to make the confusing point even more confusing. His staccato delivery style was a staple of this Saturday Night Live news bit.
It occurred to me that the mobile patent wars were equally confusing, so we decided to spoof the SNL sketch as a way to explain things. InformationWeek editor-in-chief Rob Preston plays Piscopo. The bobbleheads play themselves.
