Powerful 'MyPal' PDA Now Available In U.S.

The MyPal A730W, a powerful PDA from Taiwan's ASUSTeK Computer Inc. coveted by hardcore handheld enthusiasts in North America, is at last available in the United States.

The MyPal A730W, a powerful PDA from Taiwan's ASUSTeK Computer Inc. coveted by hardcore handheld enthusiasts in North America, is at last available in the United States.

The $569 Pocket PC is loaded with high-end features, including both CF and SD slots; Infrared, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (802.11b) support; a 1.3 megapixel camera; and a bright transflective TFT, 640x480 screen with 65k colors.

The A730W runs on a 520MHz Intel XScale PXA270 processor, Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition OS, and comes with 128 MB of RAM.

The PDA had been available for some time in Europe and Asia, and is available in the U.S. for the first time.
