BYTE -- If you don't want your kids or anyone else using certain apps on your iPad, enable Restrictions. Go to Settings >> General >> Restrictions.Tap on Enable Restrictions and set a 4-digit passcode.
Then turn any feature you don’t want others using to the OFF position. Close out of Settings. The app you disable will no longer show up as an icon on the iPad -- even if they search for it.
