Unless you've been hiding from the Internet since the launch of the iPhone 5, you've probably read about people getting lost because Apple ditched Google Maps for its own, the overheating issues with the phone, and other problems.

In the video below, I show the controversial Apple maps. While it's a novelty on iOS, the turn-by-turn feature has been available for years on Android phones and other platforms. Even iOS users have been able to get voice turn-by-turn for years from third parties such as MotionX. Have any of you had issues with the new Apple-grown maps? Have you gotten lost?

Complaints aside, the demand for the thinner and lighter device is clear: Apple sold over 5 million iPhone 5s over the first weekend. Unfortunately, the supply has been constrained--causing a delay in getting them to all the consumers who ordered them.

One thing I didn't mention in the video is the panoramic feature. Check out this photo of the line to buy an iPhone 5, taken with an iPhone 5, of course.
