Li Tan is right.  New opportunities for fresh graduates and millennials.

But, what about the families of those who lost jobs?  They may be in their 50s..  Social responsibility is lacking in this kind of approach..

New York-Presbyterian: Up Next
Talked with some of the IT leaders from New York-Presbyterian at the InformationWeek conference last week; they recently did a hackathon to come up with even more things to do with the tablets and software-- including a special interface for pediatric patients in the hospital.

The new technology eliminates many jobs but also create new positions. Few years back we have not heard about the position like "Big-Data Architect", "Cloud computing developers". But indeed the new tech eliminates traditional jobs and create new ones with more demanding requirements.

I'm just wondering how many people lost their jobs because they got replaced by technology? I just hope that it creates more jobs than it takes away...
