Re: Wait and See
China industry is still heavily influcened by non-economic factors. Windows 10 is good but we need to see how its penetration will go in China market.

Re: Wait and See
It has been long rumored and never proven that MSFT put a backdoor in Windows 7 and 8.

Or at least told No Such Agency how to get in. And Win10 phones home a lot.

Watch all the comments coming from techies about CISA. I doubt MSFT will say anything.

Re: Wait and See
@larryloeb "They did it for the us" Could you expand on that? I'm unaware of anything that Microsoft modified on Win 10 just for the US market.

I think it will be something more than they will publicly admit to. They did it for the us they'll do it for the Chinese.

Re: Wait and See

@Larryloeb you are correct. That is the basic things we need to wait and see that what kind of windows we will see in future. The point of trade off is exactly what we should look for.

I guess the question is what they traded off for that access.

Wait and See

Its a good decision for microsoft to extend its buisness into the chinese industry. But we need to wait and see the actual how the windows 10 will look like. Previously it was very difficult to penetrate the chinese industry but once an opportunity is given, they need to cash on that.
