re: BlackBerry 10: Visual Tour Of Smartphones, OS
It would be nice to know what features of BB could be locked down by the enterprise. My previous employer provided me with a nice BB bold (or torch, I don't remember the model), but they disabled app world,BBM and all nice features of BB. This is where I love my Andriod device. I tried Good for enterprise a little bit, it creates a separate area in your phone for enterprise email, and if they do a wipe, it doesn't touch your personal stuff, which is nice. I would also like to know if the apps like maps comes with the base version of BB 10. Most likely the enterprise users will be "stuck " with the basic apps that comes with the OS.

Information Week only had one important New Year's Resolution this year. '"No Slide Show Articles with out a prominent 'View-as-one-page' link." How's that working out for you so far?

Both parties could be on WiFi. That's how I do most of my Facetime. The real problem, for now, is the old fax-machine catch-22: how can you video chat on your Z10 if few others have them yet? This is where corporate device purchases would help, but lots of companies are moving to BYOD.

David Pogue of the NY Times reviewed the Z10 here http://nyti.ms/14vzvoc and explained the keyboard shortcut features at length. Very cool time saver on typing on a tiny keyboard. Best keyboard is one you don't have to use as much.

Video chat/screen sharing's nice but with the prevalence of limited data plans will they really be used?

re: BlackBerry 10: Visual Tour Of Smartphones, OS
Most everybody at the NY launch got a Z10. I've been testing a bit. Touch-screen seemed balky at first, but either I'm learning it or the phone is learning me. Operation is getting smoother and it does seem to reduce the in-and-out of apps syndrome you experience on iPhone and -- guessing here cause I don't have one -- Android. You're still in and out of communication options from the Hub, but they're all in one place under your thumb.
