The new search functions sound great, and it's a good thing they won't include the Web at large. I don't that is necessary, there are obviously other search engines and places for that. But I agree that it's a shame these search functions won't be available on mobile devices. Though perhaps that will come in a future update?

It's unfortunate that LinkedIn did not have the foresight to enable mobility features with its updates. I would imagine most people would be using LinkedIn from their mobile devices, as most of our population is increasingly mobile, and soon, LinkedIn will have to accommodate those users.
