Improving Business Process Improvement
Savvion updates BPM tool to make spotting process problems easier.
Need to figure out what's going wrong with a business process? Savvion this week began shipping a new release of its business process management application that makes it easier to identity problems with business processes and take steps to improve them.
Savvion's BusinessManager software provides a way for people to collaboratively study business processes and develop ways to improve them. BusinessManager 6.5 offers a new forms designer, improved ability to add business rules, process lifecycle management capabilities, and ease-of-use enhancements.
The software is being used by Sprint to manage the product-return process at the company's retail stores, says product marketing director Rob Risany. The software could be used by manufacturers to improve manufacturing, quality control, and engineering change management processes, for example, and by banks to manage loan and mortgage processing.
Pricing for the new release starts at $100,000.
