Andrea Malagodi joined Sonar in 2021 initially as Chief Technology Officer, before moving over to the CIO role in August 2022, a role he holds today. Andrea has extensive expertise on investing in the most effective solutions to enable organizations to get the most out of their hiring investments (i.e. supporting the retention of developers, unlocking developer productivity, decreasing burnout, etc.) He also has firsthand experience on how CIOs can navigate generative AI in the enterprise, keeping in mind the quality of AI-generated code. Previous to Sonar, he worked in Financial Services at JPMorgan Chase & Co as CTO, where he managed Chase’s website and applications for 80 million customers and led global teams across Private and Consumer Banking. Andrea’s role at Sonar spans IT Operations, Information Security, Data Ecosystem, and Product Engineering, helping lead and enable the company to scale.
