Joint Effort Yields Wireless Portfolio Access

Constant access to one's financial portfolio seems a natural fit for mobile and wireless technology. Now, Eagle Investment Systems Corp. and Outercurve Technologies are providing a jointly developed portfolio management system that can be accessed via a Research In Motion BlackBerry, Palm handheld, Compaq iPAQ, or other personal digital assistants.

The offering combines Eagle's Pace portfolio management system with the wireless financial applications available through Outercurve's FMS system. Users can access their portfolio data as well as real-time stock quotes, news, and research, according to the company.
