Interop 10K Step Fitness Challenge: Walk to Win

Use your fitness tracker at Interop, walk 10,000 steps or more, and win prizes!

With approximately 1.7 million square feet of space at Mandalay Bay Convention Center—not to mention the infinite corridor that connects it to the hotel—you do a lot of walking at Interop. Now it just might pay off!

Interop is committed to encouraging the IT community’s health and well-being. This year, Interop will reward everyone who achieves a daily 10,000 step goal with an Interop prize. Join the movement and get on board for the Interop Fitness Challenge!

Here’s how to participate:

-Use your fitness tracker or download a free step counter on your smart phone.

-Track your steps as you visit booths in the Exhibit Hall and attend sessions.

-Show your 10,000 step summary to Interop staff at the Interop HQ in the Exhibit Hall.

-Spin the Interop prize wheel to claim your prize.

-Everyone who meets the 10,000 step goal will be recognized on the mobile app and via Twitter.

If the hotel and convention center don’t provide enough walking opportunities, here’s a few suggestions for fun places you can check out while you’re in Las Vegas. You can have a geeky good time while adding to your tally.

And if you’ve got a favorite walking or running route in Vegas, feel free to share it in the comments section.

Interop Las Vegas is April 27 through May 1. Register now to learn the latest technology developments, accelerate your career, and network with your peers in the IT community.
