Netscape To Enhance Messaging Server
Netscape will bolster its messaging platform next weekthrough relationships with third-party service providers.
Netscape plans to partner with Wingra Technologies Inc., amessaging migration and integration outsourcer. Netscape andWingra staff will be able to provide detailed assistance tocompanies migrating from legacy messaging platforms toNetscape Messaging Server.
In a separate deal, Netscape will integrate Messaging Serverwith Bright Light Technologies Inc.'s antispam product,Bright Mail Service. Companies using the Netscape messagingplatform will be able to subscribe to Bright Light'sservice, which automatically detects spam and prevents itsdelivery to end users. The service is priced at $10,000 fora 2,000-seat license.
